The Company is headed by Trevor de Kock, one of South Africa’s most experienced documentary filmmakers, media for over twenty years.
Trevor has produced five films for the BBC, and filmed for over fifty other international productions such as for National Geographic Television and the Discovery Channel to name a few. His work has received numerous international awards and accolades, while his most recent production “City Slickers”, is the first South African television film to be nominated for an International Emmy. Pelican Pictures is based in Cape Town and offers a wide variety of production services and skills, combined with a unique knowledge and expertise in filming the natural history of Southern Africa, while also taking on work elsewhere in the world. We also run a library of high-quality wildlife stock footage, including photo stills.
